President Donald Trump has signed an executive order aimed at streamlining administrative procedures for the private space sector to increase the number of launches. The measure, aimed at strengthening the US position in space, could benefit Elon Musk's SpaceX, which dominates the market with more than 130 launches scheduled for 2024. While the deregulation is welcomed by innovation advocates, it has sparked criticism from those concerned about the environmental impact.
