Donald Trump said he is leaving the NATO summit with a different vision, impressed by allies' commitment and the new 5% defense spending target.

Following the NATO summit in The Hague, Donald Trump said he had been moved by allies' passion for their countries and was leaving with a changed vision for the alliance. He stressed the importance of commitment to Article 5 of the NATO Treaty and welcomed the new defense spending target of 5% of GDP as an achievement. Trump emphasized the need for Europe to take more responsibility for security in the context of tensions with Russia.
