Donald Trump has reaffirmed US support for Ukraine, stressing that American engagement will continue regardless of the outcome of talks with Ukrainian leader Zelenski and European officials. Trump said Europe will have a leading role in securing peace, but the US will remain involved. He suggested a trilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin, believing that such a summit could help end the war. Zelenski was open to the idea of such a summit to stop the conflict.
