In a phone interview with NBC News, Trump emphasized that Iranian leaders behave differently in meetings compared to what they communicate to the press, stating that they are "much more reasonable" and accept what they need to accept.

The fragile truce between the United States and Iran, which came into effect the day before, has brought a certain calm, with no reported bombings in Iran or the Persian Gulf, after five weeks of conflict that resulted in thousands of deaths.
