American President Donald Trump held a signing ceremony for the "Council for Peace", an initiative by the American leader aimed at bringing together international leaders to promote peace and an alternative to the UN that comes with a one billion dollar fee.

Approximately 35 of the 50 invited nations participated in the event. Trump discussed his international actions, including 'Operation Midnight Hammer' against Iran and the situation in Venezuela, stating that oil companies are interested in the Venezuelan market.

He emphasized the importance of the "Council for Peace", which he described as one of the most significant bodies ever created, and criticized Spain for its military spending. Trump claimed that, currently, the world is safer and more peaceful than it was a year ago, mentioning progress in resolving international conflicts, including in Gaza and Ukraine.

The Council was presented as aiming to end the conflict between Israel and Hamas and would include an 'Executive Committee for Gaza' to coordinate activities on the ground. Leaked documents suggest that this council could replace some functions of the UN. Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin would have accepted the invitation to participate in the council, which could facilitate discussions about Russia's frozen assets.
