This visit, which will take place between May 13 and 15, also includes other important members of the delegation, such as David Solomon from Goldman Sachs, Stephen Schwarzman from Blackstone, Larry Fink from BlackRock, Jane Fraser from Citigroup, and Dina Powell McCormick from Meta Platforms.
The main purpose of the meeting with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping is to unlock a series of trade and acquisition agreements between the United States and China, reflecting Trump's desire to improve bilateral economic relations.
