American President Donald Trump ruled out sending ground troops to Iran, stating that it would be a "waste of time" and that Iran has already lost everything it could lose, including its navy.

The statements were made in the context of escalating conflict in the Middle East, and Trump dismissed warnings from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who called a potential American ground operation a "disaster".

Additionally, naval traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global trade, has nearly come to a complete halt, with only two commercial vessels transiting in the last 24 hours, which has been described as a "nearly complete temporary pause" in routine commercial activities.
