In an interview with the New York Post, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he does not rule out the possibility of sending American troops to Iran, asserting that he is not afraid of this option.

Unlike other presidents who have stated that they will not deploy ground troops, Trump emphasized that, although he does not believe it will be necessary, he is open to this possibility.

"I have no emotions regarding ground troops – unlike all those presidents who say 'There will be no ground troops.' I am not saying that. I am saying 'Probably we don't need to' or 'If it were necessary'", said Donald Trump.
