Donald Trump says that Putin does not want to meet with Zelensky because "he doesn't like him"

In a recent statement, Donald Trump confirmed that he had discussions with Vladimir Putin, emphasizing that although each conversation is positive, the situation in Ukraine remains tense. Trump mentioned that he discussed not only the conflict in Ukraine but also the limitation of nuclear weapons, suggesting that a treaty that includes China would be beneficial. He highlighted the difficulties of meetings between Putin and Zelensky, stating that the war is a "great clash of personalities" and expressed hope that a peace agreement could be reached soon.

Asked why Putin seems reluctant to sit at the negotiating table with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump replied: "Because he doesn't like him."
