President Donald Trump is increasingly disappointed with the evolution of the war in Iran, which has entered its fifth month without a clear solution. Sources from the administration claim that Trump is in 'revenge mode' against Tehran, after peace negotiation efforts have failed.

In a recent meeting, he called Iranian leaders 'crazy' and 'scum', in the context of the conflict generating high economic costs and human losses. Although Trump announced a ceasefire in April and signed a memorandum to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian attacks have continued.

The White House spokesperson emphasized that Trump will not tolerate Iran's terrorist behavior. The escalation of the conflict has led to attacks on Saudi oil tankers and rising oil prices. Additionally, Trump has avoided meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and intelligence services have warned of Iranian plans to assassinate him. Despite the challenges, Trump is trying to focus on economic issues and continues to believe that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons.

"If I receive, the United States will hold Iran responsible (...), and a major military punishment will be applied to Iran and, of course, the Houthis," threatened the American president on his Truth Social network on Thursday.
