After hitting a five-month high in crude oil prices, Donald Trump is reiterating his call for increased US oil production. The price of Brent crude rose to $81.40 a barrel, while WTI reached $78.40, with notable fluctuations. Although Iran has threatened retaliation, Middle East supplies have not been affected so far. Analysts warn that any attack on energy infrastructure could lead to rapid price rises.
