In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the quick solution to the Gaza crisis is for Hamas to surrender and release the hostages. Responding to questions about the Israeli prime minister's statements, he pointed out that children in Gaza look hungry from the TV images. Trump criticized Israel's efforts to reduce civilian casualties, calling the situation chaos, and called for an increase in humanitarian support, saying food and security are urgently needed. He also expressed openness to a ceasefire.
