President Trump signed a decree allowing the Chinese company ByteDance to transfer control of the TikTok application to American investors, with a deadline of 120 days to complete the transaction. The decree, titled "Saving TikTok in parallel with national security protection," stipulates that ByteDance can own a maximum of 20% of the new joint venture, which will have an estimated value of 14 billion dollars. Trump mentioned that prominent investors, such as Oracle, Rupert Murdoch, and Michael Dell, will play an important role in ensuring the security of the application.
