Donald Trump says he has approved sending defensive weapons to Ukraine to counter Russian attacks, expressing his displeasure with Putin, who does not seem interested in peace. Trump emphasized that the option of imposing tough sanctions against Russia is still on the table. He also mentioned that Ukraine could receive an additional Patriot missile system to bolster its defenses amid the intensification of Russian attacks. The decision comes after a review of arms deliveries was temporarily suspended.
