US President Donald Trump has announced that he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday. Trump criticized the situation in Washington D.C., noting that he does not like to discuss the capital's problems. The summit comes in the wake of Trump's proposals for a peace deal in Ukraine, which could involve territorial swaps, and Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has said he is open to working together but will not cede territory. Sources suggest Zelenski may be invited to the meeting.
