The incident took place near Riedlingen, where at least two train carriages derailed in a wooded area, carrying about 100 people. Although information is conflicting, security sources indicate both fatalities and injuries, with at least three people reported injured. The circumstances of the derailment remain unclear, but the Reutlingen control center described the event as a "serious incident".
