A serious road accident occurred near the town of Wellawaya, Sri Lanka, where a bus with nearly 30 passengers lost control and plunged into a 300-meter deep ravine. The impact resulted in the death of 15 people, including five children, and injured another 16. Images from the scene show the destroyed bus, and soldiers intervened to recover the victims from the wreckage of the vehicle.
