On Friday afternoon, a tragic incident occurred in central Stockholm when a double-decker bus crashed into a bus stop on Valhallavägen street, causing multiple casualties. The Swedish police confirmed that there are both deceased and injured individuals, but did not provide details about the number or their identities. Ambulances and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene. The bus, belonging to the company Transdev, was not in service, having only the driver on board, who was subsequently arrested. An investigation for negligent homicide has been opened as part of the standard procedure. Witnesses reported scenes of panic, and authorities continue to investigate the incident.
