At least 45 Indian pilgrims died in a bus accident while traveling from Mecca to Medina

The embassy in Riyadh and the consulate in Jeddah are providing assistance to the families of the victims, and control rooms have been established in Jeddah and Hyderabad.

Asaduddin Owaisi, a parliamentarian from Hyderabad, has requested help for the repatriation of the victims' bodies. Of the 54 pilgrims who left from Hyderabad, 46 were traveling by bus, and some of the survivors have begun to provide details about the tragedy.
