A tragic shipwreck occurred in the Mediterranean on Monday when an inflatable dinghy carrying 56 people left the Tunisian port of Sfax. The boat began to deflate after a few hours at sea and then began to fill with water. Italy's coastguard said it had managed to rescue 10 people and was searching for survivors. Forty people are currently missing.
