At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Tom Cruise and director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu presented a first glimpse of the comedy 'Digger', in which Cruise plays an eccentric character, petting a white cat in a meeting full of stuffed animals.
The actor, a four-time Oscar nominee, described the film as 'crazy' and 'funny', receiving applause from the audience. Inarritu emphasized that this role represents 'perhaps the greatest challenge' of Cruise's career, marking his first film outside the 'Top Gun' and 'Mission: Impossible' franchises. With a production budget of 125 million dollars, 'Digger' represents a risky bet for Warner Bros. During the event, other films were also showcased, including 'Godzilla Minus Zero', which will be released in November. Additionally, the independent distributor Neon announced a South Korean science fiction thriller, 'Hope', featuring an impressive cast.
