The watch was discovered among the belongings of Hans Christensen Givard, a 27-year-old passenger who died in the 1912 tragedy. Items recovered from him, including a savings book and a compass, were returned to his family. The watch will be auctioned on April 26 by Henry Aldridge and Son. Givard inspired a book about Danish Titanic stories and the clock was exhibited in Copenhagen in 2012, highlighting its historical importance.
