The attack occurred Friday night, when multiple bullets struck the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) building. Authorities reported no casualties, and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Attorney General Brian Kemp praised the law enforcement response. The threat was confirmed to have been eliminated, allowing the university to lift the sheltering order.
