The "Women in Drones" program was launched by Daria, a translator from Ukraine, to train women in drone assembly, essential in the context of the war with Russia. With a grant obtained in 2024, Daria has managed to train 150 women from various fields, such as IT, accounting, and education, in the technical skills necessary in the drone industry. The training takes place both face-to-face in Kyiv and online, to attract as many participants as possible.

Women learn to assemble different types of drones, including FPV and those with explosive munitions, demonstrating that they can excel in fields traditionally considered masculine. The program uses the Lean method, inspired by Toyota, to optimize production and respond quickly to needs on the ground. Daria emphasizes that, although Ukraine is behind Western countries in terms of technology, adaptability and experience in combat provide a competitive advantage.
