In the Green Room of the White House, visitors can admire two portraits made from Lego pieces, depicting President Donald Trump and George Washington. The crowns above the portraits are decorated with red Lego ribbons, inspired by Melania Trump's theme for this year, which reflects the joys and challenges of being a mother and businesswoman.

The decorations include over 10,000 white and blue butterflies in the Red Room, dedicated to children in foster care, and the tree in this room is adorned with 'Be Best' ornaments, an initiative by Melania Trump. The Blue Room hosts the official tree, decorated with golden stars and ornaments representing the flora and fauna of each American state. The White House is adorned with over 50 Christmas trees, 75 wreaths, 200 feet of garlands, and 50 pounds of gingerbread. Additionally, the decorations in the East Room mark the 250th anniversary of the USA. In a break from tradition, the official portrait of former President Barack Obama has been moved from the public area.
