The President of the United States, Donald Trump, emphasized the importance of preventing a nuclear conflict with Iran, in the context of rising oil prices caused by the war that began on February 28. He mentioned that, although the U.S. is the largest oil producer, global security is a priority.

Following the American-Israeli attacks on Iran, gasoline prices have risen by 22% in the U.S., reaching an average of $3.60 per gallon. In an attempt to limit the economic impact, the administration announced the release of 172 million barrels from strategic reserves, however, the markets remain tense, with investors concerned about the escalation of the conflict.
