Pete Hegseth, together with Admiral Brad Cooper from CENTCOM, stated that the U.S. is not lacking in will or resources to fulfill its military commitments under Operation Epic Fury against the Iranian regime. Hegseth emphasized that Iran is mistaken if it believes that the U.S. is not determined to continue the operation, mentioning that ammunition stocks are sufficient to sustain the campaign. He also announced that American offensive forces are on their way to the region, and the military power of the U.S. is increasing, while Iran's military capability is declining.
Admiral Cooper confirmed that American attacks have had a significant impact on Iran's combat capability, with a 90% reduction in ballistic missile attacks and 83% in drone attacks. Additionally, over 30 Iranian vessels have been destroyed. Cooper mentioned that the operations aim not only to destroy Iran's current capabilities but also to prevent their reconstruction. Hegseth dismissed false information about American casualties and emphasized that the expansion of the conflict into other states in the Middle East is disinformation, stating that Iran's attacks contribute to strengthening unity between the U.S. and its allies.
