"I am deeply saddened that they have regained their freedom and that they will soon be able to meet with their relatives, after the immense suffering they have endured. The UN is working to support all efforts to cease the conflict in Gaza and to alleviate the suffering of civilians," said the UN Secretary-General, as quoted in a statement.
