France reports a resurgence of Covid-19, with moderate circulation of the virus and an increase in hospitalizations, especially among people over 75 years old.

Recent data from Public Health France shows an increase in requests for respiratory care, especially among people aged 75 and over. Hospitalizations for suspected Covid-19 have risen by 24%. A new variant, XFG, is circulating in Europe and the USA, but it has not shown increased severity compared to previous versions. The incidence of cases remains moderate, with a 15.7% increase in Covid-19 related procedures over a week.
