U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is facing criticism after inviting influencers Jake and Logan Paul to speak in front of military personnel at the Pentagon. The brothers, known for boxing, wrestling, and reality shows and associated with President Donald Trump, visited the institution one day before National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

The Department of Defense published footage from the meeting, but the brothers’ selection was mocked by journalists and former politicians. Jake told the military personnel that their work matters and that they should be proud, while Logan described the visit as an extraordinary experience. The two hold differing political views on some issues, including the status of Americans in Puerto Rico.
