The number of deaths in Gaza has risen to at least 16 people in the last 24 hours, due to the intense cold and the collapse of buildings affected by Israeli airstrikes. Among the victims are children, including an eight-month-old baby and a 9-year-old child. Storm Byron has caused severe damage, destroying at least 15 already compromised structures. The International Organization for Migration has condemned Israel for blocking essential aid, leaving nearly 850,000 people exposed to flood risks. In the camps in Gaza, conditions are extremely difficult, and families are facing a lack of adequate shelter and risks of respiratory infections due to the extreme cold. Israel has closed the crossing points, preventing the delivery of necessary materials to protect the displaced.
