The conflict between SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has been reignited on platform X, in the context of Apple filing a lawsuit against OpenAI, accusing the company of stealing trade secrets.

Musk and Altman were co-founders of OpenAI in 2015, but their relationship deteriorated after Musk left the board in 2018 and contested the transformation of OpenAI into a for-profit company. Recently, a jury in California ruled in favor of Altman, and Musk announced that he would appeal. The rivalry has intensified amid the development of new AI technologies by both companies, with Musk promoting the Grok 4.5 model and Altman presenting GPT-5.6 Sol.

Exchanges on network X have become personal, with Musk using the nickname "Scam Altman" and criticizing Altman, who responded that Musk is obsessed with him. OpenAI stated that it has no interest in the trade secrets of other companies.
