The Kremlin has announced that a phone conversation will soon take place between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and American President Donald Trump. The Kremlin's spokesperson, Dmitri Peskov, emphasized that there are no discussions about a conversation between Putin and Zelensky and reiterated Russia's demand for Ukraine to withdraw its troops from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, part of the Donbas region. Currently, Russia controls one-fifth of Ukraine's territory, including Crimea and most of the Donbas, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions.
