The interim agreement between Rwanda and DR Congo, aimed at ending the conflict in eastern DRC, is to be formally signed on June 27.

The agreement was signed following "three days of constructive dialog on political, security and economic interests", according to a joint statement by the two countries and the US State Department. The document contains provisions on disarmament, the integration of non-state armed groups and the return of refugees and displaced persons.
