The 'Brigitte Bardot' Foundation has issued a statement warning about the emergence of online sales offers that use the image of the actress who passed away on December 28, 2025. These offers include photographs and montages assisted by artificial intelligence, presented as being donated to the foundation. The foundation emphasizes that these actions are misleading and that they have not received any approval for fundraising.

Additionally, the institution has announced that it will initiate legal actions against those involved in these illegal activities. The foundation encourages admirers to respect the memory of the actress and to avoid falling into the traps of these exploitations. It is also stated that there are no official products available for sale and that donations are welcome to continue the actress's work. Brigitte Bardot's funeral will take place on January 7, with a private ceremony at the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church in Saint-Tropez.
