The beaches in Italy, including the famous ones in Sardinia, are implementing new access measures, such as mandatory reservations, QR codes, and entry fees, to manage the increased number of tourists and protect the environment.

At La Pelosa beach, access is limited to 1,500 visitors per day, and reservations are required between May 15 and October 15, with a fee of 3.50 euros. Cala Goloritzé, another popular destination, allows only 250 visitors at a time, with a fee of 7 euros. These restrictions come amid the rise in tourism in Italy, with an ISTAT report showing a 4.2% increase in tourist arrivals.

The debate over access to public beaches is intensifying, with some tourists believing that these measures are necessary, while others see them as a limitation on free access. Opinions are divided, with some users expressing frustrations regarding the difficulty of making reservations.
