In an unusual operation, five police officers from Thailand, along with a female officer, disguised themselves in a female dance troupe to arrest Mekha Fa-wap-wap, a wanted criminal, during a street dance festival in Lopburi province, located 150 kilometers from Bangkok. The police discovered that the suspect was in possession of over 53 methamphetamine pills and 200 bags for drug sales, as well as a mobile phone used to operate an illegal gambling platform.

After the arrest, the officers, still dressed in their colorful costumes, posed for photos with the suspect behind bars, highlighting the humor of the situation. The Thai police are known for using unusual disguises, having a precedent in February when officers disguised themselves as dragons to catch a thief of Buddhist artifacts.
