The ten men were arrested at a farm in Jalisco used as a forced recruitment center for the cartel. The case has sparked debate in Mexico, where articles of clothing and human remains have been discovered, and has been described by activists as an 'extermination center'. Prosecutors have dismissed the charges, calling the farm a training center. Another 15 people, including a mayor, have been arrested in connection with the investigation, as Mexico faces more than 127,000 disappearances.
