Technology companies, such as Palantir and Hello Patient, have started offering free tobacco products to employees through vending machines installed in offices, with the aim of increasing productivity. Startups Lucy Nicotine and Sesh have provided machines with pouches of nicotine products at Palantir's office in Washington D.C., which help employees stay focused.

Eliano A. Younes from Palantir posted a photo of the vending machine on social media, highlighting this initiative. Nicotine products, which are a less invasive alternative to traditional tobacco consumption, are available for free to employees and guests over the age of 21. Palantir covers the costs of stocking these products, thus trying to enhance the work experience of employees by boosting concentration.
