Hundreds of employees of a multinational company from Italy, specialized in commercial refrigeration, went on a four-hour strike, protesting against the decision to return sums of money received in excess of their salary due to a calculation error.

The company, based in the province of Belluno, acknowledged the error and apologized, proposing to recover the amounts in installments. However, this measure has amplified the employees' grievances, who are facing repeated issues related to salary payments and contractual conditions. The provincial secretary of Fiom Cgil, Stefano Bona, stated that many workers were credited with amounts higher than they expected, sometimes up to 600 euros.

Union representatives have requested flexibility in repayment for difficult cases, but grievances persist, considering that issues with pay slips are not new.
