The Spanish government has approved a bill that restricts smoking in outdoor spaces, including on beaches, restaurant terraces, and stadiums. The law aims to ban the use of traditional and electronic cigarettes, hookahs, and tobacco products in public places. It also intends to tighten controls on the marketing of vaping products. The measures are meant to protect public health, but they face opposition from bar owners. The bill must be approved by Parliament to come into effect.
