Sony has temporarily halted production of the PSVR2 headset due to high stocks and low demand. Production will resume after the sale of existing stocks.

The company has produced more than two million units since the headset's launch, but sales have steadily declined, causing it to halt production until stock runs out. Meta is the current market leader in virtual reality headsets, and analysts predict significant market growth by 2028.
