A court in South Korea has ruled that Kwon Hyuk-bin, founder of video game company Smilegate, must transfer assets worth approximately €1.6 billion to his former wife, Lee Hwa-jin. The ruling includes a 35% stake in the company and 65 billion won in cash, making it the largest compensation awarded in a divorce case in the country's history. The decision is not final and may be appealed by either party.
