The question addressed to the Slovenians was: "Do you support the entry into force of the law regarding assisted dying, which was approved by Parliament on July 24, 2025?".

According to almost final results, after counting 99.8% of the ballots, approximately 53% of voters rejected the implementation of this law adopted by Parliament in July, while 47% voted in favor of it.

This means that its implementation will be suspended for at least a year.
