The boarding gate of an airport was the scene of a serious incident after a Boeing 787 Dreamliner suffered a malfunction in the front landing gear while parked. The front part of the aircraft collapsed, and the pilots' cabin hit the ground, causing significant damage. The moment was captured by surveillance cameras. There were no passengers on board, only crew members and ground staff. According to a representative of the airline Lufthansa, several employees were injured and received medical attention. The aircraft, built in 2025 and introduced into service in February, was set to operate a flight between Frankfurt and Los Angeles. The cause of the incident has not yet been determined, and investigators are examining both the possibility of human error and that of a technical malfunction.
