On Sunday morning, in the Argentine province of Misiones, a double-decker bus was involved in a fatal accident, resulting in the death of at least nine people and injuring another 29. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM, when the bus, which was carrying approximately 50 passengers, collided with a car coming from the opposite direction, near the town of Obera.

The impact caused damage to the bridge's guardrail, and the bus partially fell into the riverbed. The death toll increased throughout the day, and the province's Interior Minister, Marcelo Perez, confirmed the number of nine fatalities. Over 100 firefighters and rescuers intervened to save the injured, conducting rescue operations for several hours.
