President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced that Serbia will start the production of humanoid robots, thus becoming the only European country that manufactures androids.

The Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic declared on Wednesday, during an official visit to China, that Serbia will start the production of humanoid robots between July 10 and 20, becoming the first European country to manufacture such androids. The announcement was made in Jiaxing, where Vucic signed investment agreements worth 953 million euros for the economic development of Serbia.

These investments will be distributed in cities such as Niš, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, Šabac, Cuprija, and Indjija. Vucic emphasized that the production of robots will take place in three stages, starting with assembly, followed by the creation of data factories for training the robots, and finally, the integration of artificial intelligence. These initiatives will transform Serbia into a leader in the field of robotic technology in Europe, with the first humanoid robot units available in just two months.
