Seven searches are taking place in Dolj, including at a public institution, as part of a case of embezzlement and intellectual forgery related to fuel vouchers for personal use.

In Dolj County, the police officers of the Economic Crime Investigation Service carried out search operations on Thursday morning, including at the headquarters of a public institution, in a criminal case regarding embezzlement and intellectual forgery. Officials within the institution are suspected of having misused fuel vouchers for personal use between 2022 and August 2025. To create the appearance of legality, they allegedly prepared false documents regarding the use of fuel. The damage caused will be determined later, and three individuals will be taken for hearings. The activities are coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Craiova Court.
