Ryanair has decided to discontinue the Prime subscription, which offered benefits such as reserved seats without additional fees and travel insurance, due to higher costs than the generated revenues. Those who already have a valid subscription can use it until its expiration in October 2026, but new sign-ups are no longer accepted. Marketing director Dara Brady mentioned that the subscription attracted over 55,000 members, generating 4.4 million euros in fees, but provided discounts of over 6 million euros. Additionally, Ryanair has implemented an exclusively digital policy for boarding passes starting November 12, 2025, eliminating printed tickets while promising to maintain low fares. Passengers are advised to plan their travels carefully and take advantage of promotions.
