An investigation by the Hellenic Intelligence Service has uncovered a Russian spy network operating in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and other countries. Two Greeks from the diaspora, one arrested in Lithuania for attempted murder and another in Greece for espionage, are suspected of links with the GRU. The latter photographed military transports in the port of Alexandroupolis. Investigations suggest possible links with a couple of Russian spies in Halkidiki involved in sabotage operations.
